We are currently looking for a Manager, Government Affairs, focusing on financial markets and energy policies, the job description of which is below. The McGraw-Hill Companies’ Government Affairs department is seeking qualified candidates for an open position as Manager, Government Affairs. This position has primary responsibility for monitoring, analyzing, tracking and communicating to Corporate officials and policymakers in support of lobbying activities in relation to policies and regulations affecting the energy and financial services sectors. This position is responsible for managing implementation strategies to achieve the Corporation’s goals, preparation and distribution of briefing and background materials on legislative and regulatory developments domestically and globally affecting the Corporation’s products and services. Qualified candidates must hold a college degree, have 5-7 years experience in policy issues affecting regulation of the energy and financial markets, and demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills.
